Carpet

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the lower A pillar trim on the driver side. Refer to => [ Driver Side Lower A-Pillar Trim ] Driver Side Lower A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove A-pillar lower trim on the front passenger side. Refer to => [ Front Passenger Side A-Pillar Lower Trim ] Front Passenger Side A-Pillar Lower Trim.

- Remove the foot rest cover.

- Remove steering column lower trim. Refer to => [ Steering Column Lower Trim ] Steering Column Lower Trim.

- Remove the left and right B-pillar lower trim. Refer to => [ Lower B-Pillar Trim ] Lower B-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the driver and front passenger seats.

- Remove seat bench. Refer to => [ Seat Bench/Single Seat ] Seat Bench/Single Seat

- Remove center console. Refer to => [ Center Console ] Center Console.

- Remove the left and right rear wheel housing trim. Refer to => [ Lower C-Pillar Trim ] Lower C-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the left and right sill panel strips. Refer to => [ Sill Panel Strip ] Sill Panel Strip.

- Remove the accelerator pedal module.

- Loosen the carpet - 1 - all the way around.

- Lift the carpet - 1 - and, with a second technician, remove it from the vehicle - 2 - (folded lengthwise).






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Position the carpet - 1 - inside the vehicle - 2 - (folded lengthwise).

- Unfold the carpet - 1 - inside the vehicle - 2 -.

Make sure the carpet is installed correctly. The holes and fasteners must line up with each other.

Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

Install in reverse order of removal.
