Lower B-Pillar Trim

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition if the vehicle has interior monitoring.

- Remove the sill panel strip. Refer to => [ Sill Panel Strip ] Sill Panel Strip.

- Loosen the B-pillar upper trim. Refer to => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim, Loosening and Fastening ] Upper B-Pillar Trim, Loosening and Fastening.

- Loosen the B-pillar lower trim - 1 - from the door seal.

- Remove the clips - 2 - and - 3 - the B-pillar lower trim - 1 - from the mounts in - direction of arrow - using trim removal wedge (3409).

- Remove the B-pillar lower trim - 1 - from the vehicle.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• Make sure the trim panel is installed inside the door seal.
