Sunroof Motor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

• Remove and install the sunroof motor only when the glass panel is closed.

- Remove the front interior lamp (W1).

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the sunroof motor - 1 -.






- Disconnect the connector - 2 - from the sunroof motor.

Installation

• Sunroof motor in its neutral position.

If this is not the case, adjust the neutral position. Refer to => [ Sunroof Motor, Adjusting Neutral Position ] Sunroof Motor, Adjusting Neutral Position.

- Connect the connector - 2 - to the sunroof motor.






- Install the sunroof motor - 1 - and tighten the bolts - arrows -.

Screw - arrow - tightening specification: 4 Nm

- Install the front interior lamp (W1).

- Adapt the sunroof motor. Refer to => [ Sunroof Motor, Adapting ] Sunroof Motor, Adapting.
