Front Door Lamps and Switches

Rear Lid Remote Release Button (E233)

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( trim removal wedge (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

The rear lid remote control lock switch is installed in the driver door trim panel.

Removing

- Remove the door trim panel.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Squeeze the tabs - 2 - and remove the rear lid remote control lock switch from the door trim panel.

- Release the tabs (front and rear) - arrows - and remove the rear lid remote release button.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
