Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

• Socket (3410)

• The following describes removing and installing the left striker pin. Removing and installing the right striker pin is identical.

Removing

- Remove the bolts- 2 - and the striker pin - 1 -.






Installation

- Position the striker pin - 1 - on the C-pillar and tighten the bolts - 2 -.






Tightening specification - 2 -: 20 Nm

- Adjust the striker pin. Refer to => [ Striker Pin, Adjusting ] Striker Pin, Adjusting.
