Rear Lid Latch Striker

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing






- Remove the cover for the striker inside the lock carrier cover.

- Remove the bolts - 2 - and remove the striker - 1 - from the lock carrier - 3 -.

Installation






- Install the striker - 1 - on the lock carrier - 3 - with the bolts- 2 -.

Bolt - 2 - tightening specification: 18 Nm

- Adjust the striker. Refer to => [ Striker, Adjusting ] Striker, Adjusting.

- Install the cover for the striker inside the lock carrier cover.
