Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1783)

Removing






- Remove the wheel.

- Remove the bolts - 2 -.

- Pull the rear wheel housing liner - 1 - out of the side panel.

Installation






• Check the expanding nuts for damage and replace if necessary. Refer to => [ Rear Wheel Housing Liner Expanding Nuts Assembly Overview ] Rear Wheel Housing Liner Expanding Nuts Assembly Overview.

- Position the rear wheel housing liner - 1 -.

- Insert the rear wheel housing liner - 1 - behind the tab on the sill panel cover. Refer to => [ Sill Cover ] Sill Cover.

- Fasten the rear wheel housing liner - 1 - with the bolts - 2 -. Refer to => [ Rear Wheel Housing Liner Assembly Overview ] Rear Wheel Housing Liner Assembly Overview.

- Install the wheel.
