Front Instrument Panel Cover

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

• The left and right speaker trim on the instrument panel are not shown in the illustration.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Loosen the front instrument panel cover - 3 - out of the retainers - 5 - using trim removal wedge (3409) starting from the outside.

- Remove the front instrument panel cover - 3 - from the instrument panel - 4 - towards the vehicle interior.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• Install the front instrument panel cover - 3 - starting in the center.

- Insert the centering tab - 1 - into the mount - 2 - and then lock it into the retainers - 5 - starting in the center and working out.

- Make sure all the retainers - 5 - lock properly.
