Headlamp Switch Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the headlamp switch (E1) - 1 -.

- Release the tabs on the trim - 2 - using trim removal wedge (3409).

- Remove the instrument panel trim on the driver side - 2 -. Disconnect the wiring - 3 - from the instrument panel illumination dimmer switch (E20) - 4 -.






- Release the tabs - arrows - and remove the instrument panel illumination dimmer switch (E20) from the trim panel.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

- Insert the left and right trim panel centering drift - 2 - in the instrument panel mount.

- Clip all the tabs into the retainers.
