Split Rear Seat Backrest

Removing

- Remove the bench seat. Refer to => [ Seat Bench/Single Seat ] Seat Bench/Single Seat.

- From inside the luggage compartment 1 /3 - 3 -, unlock the backrest and fold it down.

- From inside the luggage compartment 2 /3 - 4 -, unlock the backrest and fold it down.

- Fold back the luggage compartment floor around the backrest center bracket.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - (8 Nm) and the clamp - 2 -.






- Lift the pivot pin - 5 - on the backrest 1 /3 - 1 - out of the backrest center bracket - 4 - and pull the backrest off the pin - 3 - with the guide sleeve - 2 -.

- Remove the backrest 1 /3 - 1 - from the vehicle.






- Lift the pivot pin - 2 - on the backrest 2 /3 - 1 - out of the backrest center bracket - 3 - and pull the backrest off the pin - 5 - with the guide sleeve - 4 -.

- Remove the backrest 2 /3 - 1 - from the vehicle.






Installation

• Make sure the guide sleeve - 4 - is in both backrest frames ( 2 /3 and 1 /3 ) before installing the pin - 5 -.






- Install in reverse order of removal.
