High Pressure Pump Overview

Do not disassemble high pressure pump!

If a fuel injector is removed, then the combustion chamber Teflon seal and the O-ring must always be replaced => [ Combustion Chamber Teflon(R) Seal and Support Washer ] Combustion Chamber Teflon(R) Seal and Support Washer.

Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.






1 High Pressure Pipe

28 Nm

The pipe must not touch other components!

Do not install when under tension.

To install, first tighten the union nuts hand tight.

Loosen and tighten using the flare nut attachment 17 mm (T10456).

Before installing: First, tighten the connection at the high pressure pump to 40 Nm.

2 Low Pressure Hose

Pay attention to the marks for installing.

Replace when removing, refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] High Pressure Pump.

3 Spring Clamp

Pay attention to the position of the clamps.

4 Cam Follower

Check for damage.

Coat with oil and install correctly with the guide in the cylinder head. Refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] High Pressure Pump.

5 O-ring

Always replace.

For the high pressure pump.

Lightly coat with clean engine oil.

6 High Pressure Pump

Removing and installing, refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] High Pressure Pump.

7 Bolt

10 Nm
