Passenger-Side Side Airbag Crash Sensor

• The front passenger thorax airbag crash sensor (G180) is installed on the front door subframe.

Always read the General Safety Precautions before working on airbags, belt tensioners and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnical components). Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic Components Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to => [ Front Door Trim Panel ] Front Door Trim Panel.

• Removing and installing the front passenger thorax airbag crash sensor (G180) is identical to removing and installing the driver thorax airbag crash sensor (G179). Refer to => [ Driver-Side Side Airbag Crash Sensor ] Driver-Side Side Airbag Crash Sensor.
