Rear Right Side Airbag Crash Sensor

• The right rear thorax airbag crash sensor (G257) is installed from the inside on the rear wheel housing.

The general safety precautions for working on airbag, belt tensioner and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnic components) must be observed. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic Components Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

- Disconnect the battery.

• Removing and installing the right rear thorax airbag crash sensor (G257) is identical to removing and installing the left rear thorax airbag crash sensor (G256).
