Driver Footwell Fuse Panel

Always follow the instructions in the Repair Information exactly when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to battery in engine compartment => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair or battery in luggage compartment => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( removal wedge (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to battery in engine compartment => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair or battery in luggage compartment => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the lower trim on the driver side.

- Remove the screws - 1 - and guide the fuse panel - 2 - downward.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the threaded connections to 1.5 Nm.
