Differential: Service and Repair

Seal Component Location Overview

• Do not remove the bolts for the left and right flange shafts at the same time. If the differential bevel gears inside the differential rotate, it will be difficult to reinstall the bolts.






1 Seal

• For the right flange shaft.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft and Seal ] Right Flange Shaft and Seal.

2 Right Flange Shaft

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft and Seal ] Right Flange Shaft and Seal.

3 Bolt

• 30 Nm

• Always replace.

4 Nut

• 20 Nm

5 Gear Shift Lever

6 Seal

• For the selector shaft.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Shaft Seal ] 02E Transmission (Direct Shift Gearbox).

7 Seal

• For the left flange shaft.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left Flange Shaft and Seal ] Left Flange Shaft and Seal.

8 Left Flange Shaft

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left Flange Shaft and Seal ] Left Flange Shaft and Seal.

9 Bolt

• 30 Nm

• Always replace.
