Antitheft Motion Sensor: Service and Repair

Interior Monitoring Sensor (G273) and Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384)

The interior monitoring sensor and vehicle inclination sensor are a single component inside the roof behind the interior lamp.

• The anti-theft alarm system must be deactivated to remove the interior monitoring sensors and the vehicle inclination sensor.

Removing

- Deactivate the anti-theft alarm system. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating ] Activating and Deactivating.

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the front interior- and reading lamp. Refer to => [ Front Interior and Reading Lamps ] Front Interior and Reading Lamps.

- Unclip the sensor wires - 1 - from the guide.






- Remove the sensors - 1 - from the front interior- and reading lamp.

- Press the tabs in - direction of arrow - and unclip the control module with the vehicle inclination sensor.

- Remove the control module for the interior monitoring with the vehicle inclination sensor and the interior monitoring sensors from the interior lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
