Remote Key with Access/Start Authorization (KESSY), Adapting

• The keys are automatically adapted to the control module for the access/start authorization when they are adapted to the anti-theft immobilizer.

The adaption for keys with the access/start authorization is carried out via the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 A).

- Select "Guided Fault Finding" on the vehicle diagnostic tester (VAS 5051 A).

- Using the "Go To" button, select "Function/Component selection" and the following menu items one after the other:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 25 - Anti-theft immobilizer 4C

• 25 - Anti-theft immobilizer functions

• Adapt the key
