Climatic Heating and A/C Components, Through 1 November 2010

Disconnect the battery before removing components marked with a **.

A data plate on the lock carrier indicates the refrigerant used and capacity.






1 Dash Panel **

2 Center Vents

Removing, refer to => [ Center Vent ] Center Vent.

3 Air Outlet

Removing, refer to => [ Driver or Passenger Vents ] Driver or Passenger Vents.

4 Controls For Heating and A/C System, Climatic

With Fresh air/recirculating door switch (E159).

With Rear window defogger switch (E230).

With Fresh air blower switch (E9).

On vehicles with heated seats also with Heated driver seat adjuster (E94) and Heated front passenger seat adjuster (E95).

With A/C control module (J301).

5 Recirculation Door Motor (V113)

Check using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fresh Air/Recirculating Air/Back Pressure Door Motor (V425) With Motor Position Sensor (G644) ] Fresh Air/Recirculating Air/Back Pressure Door Motor (V425) With Motor Position Sensor (G644).

6 Right Footwell Vent

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Footwell Vent ] Right Footwell Vent.

7 Fresh Air Blower (V2)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower (V2) ] Service and Repair.

8 Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse (N24)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse (N24) ] Service and Repair.

9 Heater Partition

Removing, refer to => [ Heater Partition ] Heater Partition.

10 Evaporator Temperature Sensor (G308) or Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Evaporator Temperature Sensor (G308) or Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263) ] Evaporator Temperature Sensor (G308) or Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263).

11 Sealing Caps

Only in vehicles without air duct to vent installed in center console at rear.

12 Air Guide

Disassemble the center console in order to remove it.

13 Dust and Pollen Filter

With EVAP canister.

14 Connection

For the center console air duct.

Disassemble the center console in order to remove it.

15 Air Outlet Grille

16 Rear Channel For Right Footwell

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Footwell Channel ] Rear Footwell Channel.

17 Rear Channel For Left Footwell

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Footwell Channel ] Rear Footwell Channel.

18 Screw

Quantity: 8

19 Adapter For Controls

20 Heater Core

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Heater Core ] Heater Core.

21 Left Footwell Vent

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left Footwell Vent ] Left Footwell Vent.

22 Temperature Regulator Door Motor (V68)

Check using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Replacing: initiate Basic Setting using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

23 Flexible Shaft

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Flexible Air Distribution Shaft ] Service and Repair.

24 Footwell Outlet Temperature Sensor (G192)

25 Heating and A/C Unit
