Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G342)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing

- Remove wiper arms Windshield washing system; wiper arms, removing and installing

- Remove the left and right plenum chamber cover

- Disconnect the connector.






- Remove the nuts and remove the right front body acceleration sensor (G342).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

The front body acceleration sensors must never be interchanged with the rear body acceleration sensors , allocation => Electronic Parts Catalog"ETKA".

- Be sure to pay attention to the installation position of the right front body acceleration sensor (G342) retainer.






The tab on the retainer - 1 - must fit into the recess in the right front body acceleration sensor (G342) - arrow -.

• Be sure to use the correct retainer. An "R" is stamped on the retainer.
