1 Electro-mechanical Parking Brake Button (E538)

• Component location: In center console.

2 Electro-mechanical Parking Brake Indicator Lamp (K213)

• Component location: In electro-mechanical parking brake button (E538).

3 -AUTO HOLD- Button (E540)

• Component location: In center console.

4 Indicator Lamp with 2 Functions

• The electro-mechanical parking brake indicator lamp (K213) turns red.

• The -AUTO HOLD- indicator lamp (K237) turns green.

Also in the display inside the instrument cluster:

• The electro-mechanical parking brake malfunction indicator lamp (K214) turns yellow.

• A audible warning signal also sounds.

• Component location: In the instrument cluster.

5 Brake System Warning Lamp (K118)

• Component location: In the instrument cluster.

6 Electro-mechanical Parking Brake Control Module (J540)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Electro-mechanical Parking Brake Control Module (J540) ] Service and Repair.

7 Clip

• Parking brake motor wiring harness bracket.

8 Left Parking Brake Motor (V282)

• Component location: On the left rear wheel bearing housing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Parking Brake Motor ] Service and Repair.

9 Right Parking Brake Motor (V283)

• Component location: On the right rear wheel bearing housing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Parking Brake Motor ] Service and Repair.

10 Bolt

• 65 Nm

• Parking brake motor to wheel bearing housing.
