Roof Antenna

The roof antenna is responsible for receiving GPS signals for navigation, GSM signals for the telephone and control signals for parking heater remote start.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Remove the headliner..

- Unscrew the retaining nut - 1 - and remove the wire connection - 2 - from the opening - arrow -.






• Depending on the antenna version, several wire connections are possible.

- Remove the roof antenna in an upward direction.

Installation

• When inserting the roof antenna, ensure that the seal is properly seated. Both guide protrusions of gasket must be seated in the appropriate holes - arrows - in antenna base.






• After inserting the roof antenna, ensure that the antenna cable - 2 - is correctly routed through the opening - arrow - in the retaining nut.






• Depending on the antenna version, several wire connections are possible.

Remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
