Anti-Theft Alarm System

General Description

The anti-theft alarm system functions are part of the Comfort system central control module (J393). Refer to => [ Comfort System Central Control Module (J393) ] Description and Operation.

The most important information for activating and deactivating is provided by Access/Start Authorization Control Module (J518).

DTC Recognition and Display

Anti-theft alarm system is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

The "Guided Fault Finding" function is to be used for troubleshooting of the systems as described in => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Testing and Inspection.
