Rear Lid Drive Motor Sensor Strip

Removing






- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- Disconnect the harness connectors - 5 - for the line - 2 - of the sensor strip - 1 -.

- Pull the line - 2 - out of the rear lid - 4 - and the rubber grommet - 3 -.

- Loosen the adhesive strip - 6 -.

- Pull the sensor strip - 1 - out from between the rear lid - 4 - and rear window - 7 -.

Installing

• Only use adhesive remover (D 002 000 10).

• Make sure the adhesive surfaces are free of dust and grease.

• Remove protective film just prior to assembly. The processing temperature is approximately 70°F (21 °C).






- Align the sensor strip - 1 - and insert it between the rear lid - 4 - and rear window - 7 -.

- Pull the line - 2 - through the rubber grommet - 3 - into the rear lid.

- Connect the harness connector - 5 -.

- Remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape - 6 - and press on with force.
