Seatback Release Motors

• The rear seats are comprised of a 2/3 unit and a 1/3 unit.

• An optional motor for releasing the seatback can be integrated in each of the two units.

• Removing and installing the motor for the 2/3 unit is described. The removal and installation of the motor in the 1/3 unit is performed in the same manner.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the bench seats. Refer to => [ Bench Seats ] Bench Seats.

- Remove the rear seats. Refer to => [ Rear Seats ] Rear Seats.

- Remove the bolts - 1 - and - 2 - (2 Nm).






- Open the motor - 3 - and detach the Bowden cable.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
