Air Injection Flow Sensor: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Sensor 1 G609

Removing

- Remove the engine compartment cover. Refer to => [ Engine Compartment Cover ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the rear engine cover - 2 - upward.






- Remove the hose - 1 -, the clamps - arrows - and the intake air duct.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Unlock the retainers - 2 and 3 - and remove secondary air injection sensor 1.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

• Replace the O-ring.

• The hose connections as well as the intake air ducts and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that are specific to that model. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
