Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Camshaft Position Sensor

Removing

- Remove the engine compartment cover. Refer to => [ Engine Compartment Cover ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the front engine cover - 1 - upward.






Removing the Camshaft Position Sensor:






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.

- Remove the secondary air pipe from the mounting.

- Remove the bolt - arrow - and the camshaft position sensor.

Removing the Camshaft Position Sensor 2:






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - arrow - and camshaft position sensor 2.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

• Replace the O-rings

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Ignition Component Overview ] Service and Repair.
