Engine Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Speed Sensor G28

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect the connector from the engine speed sensor.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - from the front final drive. Pry off the rubber cover - 2 -.






- Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the engine speed sensor.






Installing






- Insert the engine speed sensor - 1 - all the way into the opening in the engine.

Further installation is performed in reverse order.

Tightening specification:

Front final drive bolt: 90 Nm.

Engine speed sensor bolt: 10 Nm.
