Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:
• Lubricate new oxygen sensors with an assembly paste. The paste must not get onto the slits in the sensor body.
• On a used oxygen sensor, only lubricate the threads with hot bolt paste. The paste must get into the slits in the sensor body. For the correct hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.
• The oxygen sensor wire must always be attached at the same location when installing. This prevents the electric wire from touching the exhaust pipe.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Oxygen Sensor Overview ] Oxygen Sensor Overview.
