Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519), Coding

Vehicle Electrical System Control Module must be coded under the following conditions:

• Changes were made to vehicle equipment.

• One particular functionality is to be changed.

• Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) is to be replaced.

Coding Vehicle Electrical System Control Module:

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to=> [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Testing and Inspection.

- In the vehicle diagnostic tester, select "guided fault finding".

- Using the "Go to" button, select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 09 - Vehicle electrical system control module J519

• 09 - Vehicle electrical system control module functions

• 09 - Code control module
