Bonded Rubber Bushings, Pinion Side

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Sleeve (30-14)

• Assembly Tool (T10435)

• Assembly Tool (T10254)

• Pneumatic/Hydraulic Foot Pump (VAS 6179)

• Hydraulic Press (VAS 6178)

Removing






- Set the pneumatic/hydraulic foot pump (VAS 6179) to the smallest setting.

- Remove the bonded rubber bushing.

• The washer - A - is from the assembly tool (T10435)

Installing






- Position the bonded rubber bushing in the final drive in its installed position.

• The small hole - A - and the large recesses on the bushing - arrows - must be vertical to the final drive.








- Install the bonded rubber bushing until dimension - a - = 47.5 mm.
