Seat Cushion Fan

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Remove the belt latch. Refer to => [ Front Belt Latches ] Front Belt Latches.

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim.

- Remove the trim on the door sill side. Refer to => [ Door Sill Side Trim ] Door Sill Side Trim.

- Remove the drawer. Refer to => [ Drawer ] Drawer.

- Detach the front and side profiles - arrows - of the cover from the seat frame.






• Detach 2 additional profiles on the right side.

- Disconnect the fan harness connector - 3 -. Tilt the cushion and cover - 1 - upward until the fan - 2 - is accessible.






- Pull the bonded mat off of the cushion and remove the fan.

Installation

- Press the fan into the fan opening in the cushion.

- The wiring harness points to the right out of the opening.

- Glue on the fleece starting from the fan.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
