Vehicles without Electric Differential Lock

Activating TUV mode:

• Rear axle in the one-axle roller test stand

• The ignition remains on.

• The front wheels must not move for minimum 3 seconds.

• The rear wheel must rotate for at least 3 seconds non-stop between 2.2 and 12 km/h

Access to the TUV mode is indicated when the yellow Electric Park/Handbrake Malfunction Indicator Lamp (K214) comes on.

Ending TUV mode:

• Release the electro-mechanical parking brake using the electro-mechanical parking brake button (E538).

• Ignition off.

• The selector lever is not in N.

• The speed on all wheels is greater than 2.2 km/h.
