Radiator Cooling Fan: Service and Repair
Fan Shroud and Radiator Overview
Risk of injury from coolant fan starting by itself.
• Before working in the fan shroud area, disconnect the electrical connectors.
1 Radiator
• With the transmission fluid cooler and Air Conditioning (A/C) condenser.
2 Fan Shroud
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] Service and Repair.
3 Coolant Fan (V7)
• Remove with the fan shroud.
4 Rubber Bushing
• For the radiator mount.
5 Lower Radiator Mount
6 Bolt
• 25 Nm
7 Upper Radiator Mount
8 Rubber Bushing
• For the radiator mount.
9 Bolt
• 5 Nm
10 Locking Pin
Connecting the Coolant Hose to the Coupling
- Remove the old O-ring - 2 - in the coolant hose - 3 -.
- Lubricate the new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.
- Press the coolant hose onto the connection - 1 - until it engages audibly.
- Press the coolant hose on again and pull it to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
