Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J745)

The headlamp range/cornering lamp control module (J745) is attached to a cross bar behind the radio/navigation system inside the passenger compartment.

Removing:

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the radio/navigation system.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the cornering lamp and headlamp range control module - 1 - from the cross bar. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






- Unlock and disconnect the connector and remove the cornering lamp and headlamp range control module.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Code the control module and perform a basic setting on the headlamps after installing the headlamp range/cornering lamp control module. Refer to => Work Descriptions.

- Tighten the screws to 2 Nm.

- Check headlamp for function.

- Check the headlamp adjustment and correct it if necessary. Refer to => Procedure Description.
