Headlamps, Retrofitting for Left or Right Hand Drive Traffic

• In order to prevent glare due to asymmetrical low beam headlamps, both headlamps must be retrofitted to the prescribed direction of traffic corresponding to the country.

• It is necessary to deactivate the cornering lamp using the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester if the HID headlamps and cornering lamps have been changed by can covering foil to be used in a country with a specific drive direction. • The retrofit of the headlamp is not suitable for long term use in other countries. It is a short term "tourist solution" during a temporary visit to another country.

• Both headlamps must always be retrofitted.
