Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

Removal

When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Pry the rear lid courtesy lamp - 1 - on the red side of the lens near the retainers - arrows - out of the trim panel with a screwdriver or the (VAS 3409).






- Disconnect the connector - arrow - and remove the rear lid courtesy lamp - 1 -.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
