1 Exhaust Manifold

• For exhaust bank 1.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Exhaust Manifold ] Exhaust Manifold.

2 Gasket

• Always replace

3 Heated Oxygen Sensor (G39)

• The threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

• When reusing an old oxygen sensor again, only use hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) to grease the threads. Do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oxygen Sensors ] Oxygen Sensors.

4 Catalytic Converter

• For exhaust bank 1.

• Protect from shocks and impact stress.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter ] Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter.

5 Nuts

• 23 Nm

• Always replace.

6 Bolt

• 23 Nm

7 Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter (G130)

• The threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

• When reusing an old oxygen sensor again, only use hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) to grease the threads. Do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oxygen Sensors ] Oxygen Sensors.

8 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged.

9 Bolt

• 23 Nm

10 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged.

11 Bolt

• 23 Nm

12 Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter (G131)

• Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste.

• When reusing an old oxygen sensor again, only use hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) to grease the threads. Do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.

13 Bolt

• 23 Nm

14 Catalytic Converter

• For exhaust bank 2.

• Protect from shocks and impact stress.

15 Bracket

• For the catalytic converter.

16 Gasket

• Always replace.

17 Nuts

• 23 Nm

• Always replace.

19 Exhaust Manifold

• For exhaust bank 1.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Exhaust Manifold ] Exhaust Manifold.

20 Bracket

• For the exhaust pipe with catalytic converter.

Position of the Double Clamp





- Install the double clamp and tighten it to 20 Nm.
