Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189)

• The selector lever sensor system control module and the tiptronic switch are a single component.

• The tiptronic switch magnets are secured in the cover.

Removing

- Remove the selector lever knob. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Knob and Boot ] Selector Lever Boot, Separating from Handle.

- Remove the center console trim.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove the selector lever sensor system control module with tiptronic switch.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal:

- Install the selector lever sensor system control module with tiptronic switch to the selector mechanism and tighten the screws => [ (Item 7) Screw ] Selector Mechanism Overview to specification.






- Connect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Install the center console trim.

- Install the selector lever knob. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Knob and Boot ] Selector Lever Boot, Separating from Handle.
