Headlamp Washer System
• An output diagnostic test on the Vehicle electrical system control module (J519) can be used to check the headlamp washer system function. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519), Output Diagnostic Test Mode ] Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

General Description
After switching the ignition on, headlamp lenses are also cleaned on first operation and then on every fifth operation of windshield wiper lever. To do this, windshield wiper lever must be pulled toward steering wheel for a minimum of 0.5 seconds with low-beam or high-beam headlamps switched on.
After assembly work or when first operating headlamp cleaning system, it must be ventilated to ensure proper function. Refer to => [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
DTC Recognition and Display
Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.
The "Guided Fault Finding" function is to be used for troubleshooting of one of the systems described as in => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Testing and Inspection.
