C. Pressure Sensor

C1 Connect Pressure Tester





Connect pressure tester/gauge 5230 to hose at intake manifold.

C2 Check Pressure Sensor
Pressure sensor is located next to pedal carrier.

Checking Switch Under Dash Above Brake Pedal:

- Disconnect connector from sensor.
- Connect a buzzer.
- Increase pressure with pump.
The sensor should cut-out (buzzing stops) at approx. 85 - 95 kPa (12.1 - 13.5 psi).
- Remove buzzer and connect electrical connector. Remove 5230 and reconnect hose at intake manifold.
