Copies of Volvo's new "1993 Model Year Warranty Coverage Quick Reference Guide" are available from local dealer. This guide provides a general overview of the warranty coverage for 1993 model year vehicles, and is for dealer use only.
The "Warranty Coverage Quick-Reference Guide" was produced to assist dealers in determining the correct warranty application for specific model year vehicles. Since policies and procedures are model year dependent, dealers should retain older editions for information on prior model year vehicles.
Dealer personnel must familiarize themselves with the information in this booklet. For full details concerning the policies and procedures, refer to the Warranty Administration Manual as well, as the yearly owner's Warranty Information and Maintenance Records booklets. Therefore, any misinterpretation regarding the proper application of the current VCNA warranty policies and procedures can be avoided. In the event of any discrepancies, the Warranty Administration Manual language shall take precedence.
