Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes

Fig. 17 Diagnostic Module:

1. Connect diagnostic module test lead to socket B5, Fig. 17, then turn ignition switch to On position.
2. Press test button once. Keep button depressed at least 0.5 seconds, but no more than 3 seconds.
3. Read first code as indicated by flashing LED. Repeat for subsequent codes until all codes have been displayed. A period of 1.7 seconds must be allowed to elapse following the display of a code before the button is pressed again.
4. Display of first code for second time indicates that all codes have been displayed.
