In order to protect SRS-wiring and connector during assembly in the factory, a cardboard guide was fitted during production from June, 1993 on. As the cardboard guide will only provide protection during production, it can be removed during any repair or other time when the tunnel is accessed. If the cardboard guide is removed, it should not be replaced.




The cardboard guide was introduced into production from the chassis numbers illustrated.

WARNING:
Particular care must be taken when carrying out repairs to cars equipped with SRS.

Cardboard guide is located on both sides of tunnel.
