DTC 1-2-5 Faulty Signal From At Least One Wheel Sensor

CONDITIONS FOR DTC
If the signal from one or more wheel sensors is faulty, the control module detects the fault and posts the DTC.

FAULT SYMPTOMS
ABS warning light on, ABS system not working.

SOURCES OF FAULT
Damaged pulse wheel. Pulse wheel fitted wrongly. Incorrect spacing between sensor and pulse wheel.

CHECKING PULSE WHEEL
1. Jack car up.
2. Check that pulse wheel is not damaged.

NOTE: A damaged pulse wheel will send faulty signals to the control module.

3. Check that pulse wheel is correctly fitted. Check rear axle: spacing between pulse wheel and sensor. Correct distance, 0.6 ± 0.15mm/0.25mm.

CHECKING DTCs
1. Erase DTCs.
2. Start engine and drive car for a few minutes.
3. Check DTCs after taking action.
