Programming the Remote Control Transmitter

Programming new remotes
All remotes which are to be used for the alarm must be programmed at the same time (max. 4).
The key code can also be programmed with the help of the programming box P/N 1399141-9. Refer to Programming and Testing Control Module. [1][2]Component Tests and General Diagnostics


Programming method




- Shut all doors, the bonnet and the boot.




- Turn the ignition on and off at least 5 times within 10 seconds, until the alarm LED begins blinking. Leave the ignition on.
The first remote transmitter must be programmed within 15 seconds while the alarm LED is blinking.
- Only press one of the two keys on the remote transmitter to be programmed.




An acknowledgement from the alarm LED is indicated by a steady light for approx. 2 seconds and then a blinking light for 10 seconds.
- Program other remote transmitters at a maximum of 10 second intervals while the alarm LED is blinking.
- Turn off the ignition and verify functions on all the remote transmitters.

Programmable functions on the alarm
The control module can only be reprogrammed with the help of the programming box PIN 1399141-9. Refer to Programming and Testing Control Module. [1][2]Component Tests and General Diagnostics

NOTE: If a siren is fitted, the alarm control module should be set to continuous. Depending on legal requirements, the pre-programmed settings may be changed for certain markets. The legal requirements for each market are given in the alarm instructions.
