Preliminary Information




Acknowledgement signal
There is an acknowledgement signal from the turn signals when the alarm is activated and deactivated.

Panic function
The panic function triggers the alarm when remote control button 2 is held depressed for 3 seconds.

Service mode
The service models used to shut off the alarm e.g. while the car is in the workshop.

Disabling the sensor loop
The sensor loop may be disabled when there is a risk that the alarm may be triggered by the broken glass or level sensor, e.g. the level sensor on a ferry.

Activation and deactivation
Activation and deactivation are carried out by means of a separate remote control.

Programmable functions on the Guard Alarm II control unit:
Re-programming the control unit can only be carried out by means of the programming box P/N 1399141-9.

Sound signals
Sound signals can be changed from intermittent to continuous (a siren should have a continuous signal).

Panic alarm
The panic alarm should normally be in position ON.

Automatic reactivation
Automatic reactivation occurs if no door or window has been opened within two minutes after the alarm has been switched off (e.g. unintentionally).


NOTE: The doors are locked on reactivation.


Acknowledgement signals
Acknowledgement signals, either visual or by sound, can be changed or shut off.

Guard Alarm II can in addition be connected to:
One or more sensors, e.g. broken glass and level sensors.
