Programming key codes




- Check that the handsets both have the same coding as that marked on the control module (compare only the figures).




- Program in the key code on all handsets which are to be used. Refer to Alarm System Transmitter. Service and Repair




- Test the handsets.
The handsets should activate and deactivate the alarm.

If they still do not work:
Proceed as follows:
1. Try a new handset. Mark the new handset temporarily with e.g. tape.
Program in the key code. Refer to Alarm System Transmitter Service and Repair
- Test the remote.
If it still does not work, proceed to 2.

2. Investigate the fault by checking for faults in wiring. Fault Tracing Alarm Wiring (In case it is necessary to change the control module).
Program all handsets with the key code.
Test all handsets to see if any are defective.
