TOOL REQUIRED- 981 4031 Torque Socket
- Or Equivalent
REPLACEMENT
1. Raise the front end and remove the wheel.
- Place axle stands under jacking points.
- Mark up wheel position.
- There is a locating pin for this.
- Remove wheel.
2. Remove the shield under the engine.
3. Remove anti-roll bar from anti-roll bar link mounting.
4. Remove anti-roll bar clamps.
- Remove clamp panels on both sides.
- Remove bushings and holders.
5. Install the new rubber bushings.
6. Install holders and clamps.
- Tighten to 50 Nm (36.9 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: Note the clamp position in relation to the side member.
7. Install anti-roll bar to anti-roll bar links upper mountings.
- Use new locking nut.
- Tighten to 50 Nm (36.9 ft. lbs.).
8. Install shield under engine
5 Bolt Wheels Tightening Pattern:
9. Install wheel.
- Grease the hub center location dowel for the rim.
- Use rustproof agent P/N 1161030-0.
- Install wheel studs but do not tighten.
- Tighten crosswise to 85 Nm (42.1 ft. lbs.).
- When using an impact wrench, torque socket should be used.
10. Lower the car.
