New propeller shaft multilink

A new rubber on tube propeller shaft was introduced into production during early model year 1996 from chassis number:

964 - 82919 and
965 - 30491.

The new propeller shaft is also available as a retrofit for early 960 models (late model year 1994 and 1995) with a propeller shaft with CV joint and stud guide, introduced into production from chassis number:

964 - 43408 (factory code 1) and
964 - 43358 (factory code 0).

The new service kits does not fit cars with a chassis number lower than 964: 43408 or 965: 43358.

This new kit should only be used to retrofit vehicles within the chassis breaks listed at the beginning of this bulletin.
