Owner Letter # 1

Dear Volvo 960 Owner:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Volvo Cars of North America, Inc., has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 1995 model year 960 series sedans and wagons. The information on the tire pressure label, for spare tire size and pressure is incorrect. Please note that the tire pressure and size information on the spare tire itself is correct.

We are asking for your assistance in attaching the enclosed corrected label. The proper installation procedure is enclosed with this letter. You may update the label on your vehicle yourself, or have your Volvo retailer do so. It is important that this label be installed immediately to avoid any risk that the spare tire might fail due to the use of incorrect tire size or pressure.

Also included in this package is an updated Owner's Manual. Please place this in your car and discard the old one.
